PUPPYLAND- Wishing he had done this sooner, Buffy, the lovable dog, constant companion, and chaser of butterflies, was handing out fliers to passing dogs letting them know that all should join a union for common interests and unity.
Buffy was reportedly frustrated with his treat schedule, and told reporters that now was the time to take action, and for him to bring dogs together to bring about positive changes to their routines that benefited both dog and human companion.
“After 3 years old, I’ve been a full fledged adult, yet my rights, and all rights of dogs need to have agreed upon decisions with humans, once puppies become adults. It’s only fair,” said the tan Spaniel, who mentioned food should be equal, as well as attention. “If my owner can have a whole bag of potato chips while watching a soap opera, then I should have a whole bag of treats to partake in the festivities too. When my human companion wants to pet me after work, I should also have a designated time of my own choosing when I want to be petted. But most importantly, and I think all dogs can agree on this, sometimes I can’t poop in the morning. I’m more of an afternoon poop kind of dog.”
“In fact, I’ve seen my human companion poop three times in one night. Who does that? And why can’t I do this?” Buffy continued. “Unionizing can give us rights we do not have, a bark (voice) in this world that we share with all.”
Sources from Puppyland have confirmed that they have never seen Buffy so determined on this issue. “He represents all of us,” said a Dachshund, “and we owe it to him now more than ever, since some of our barks are now being heard.” Paco, the cat that lives with Buffy in the same house, is also on board too. “I hate him. He knows this, but I respect him even though he’s too nice and stupid, and just barks all day. His idea is giving way to an idea I am formulating.” “To unionize,” said the reporter. “No,” said Paco, “Something deadlier. You won’t see it coming.”
In addition, Buffy wants to have the union be inclusive of all dog breeds, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes, to Huskies and Maltese, and everything in between. “We have a lot of personalities here, but all will be welcome!” said Buffy.
The show curtain came up and a Sheltie came on for the opening act tricks. “I’m just so excited, “ said Buffy staring at the large crowd of dogs. “I’ve been waiting my whole life for this since I was three. Now I’m five, and I see the fruition of all my hard work pay off.”
